Thank you for using Katie’s Playpen Ltd. We provide services to you through the website and these are on the basis of our terms and conditions that are set out below. Please note that they may vary from time to time without notice to you.
These terms and conditions apply to all New purchases made on Katie’s Playpen website. Second Hand and Ex-Display goods see seperate terms & conditions.
Terms and conditions
Placing an order:
You can browse our website to find what products you wish to purchase. Click on buy now then add that item to your basket, when you are finished and completely satisfied with your purchases you may proceed to checkout, then you must enter you details and confirm your order.
Your order will be dispatched upon acceptance of your order (subject to stock availability) you will be informed of this at this time.
Acceptance of your order:
Upon receiving your order we will email you to confirm that your order has been received and that payment has been made. We will advise you when your order will be dispatched and if this is agreeable with yourself.
At this stage a binding agreement between us will be established. If for any reason we decide not to accept your order we will email you to notify you of this.
Cancellation of order *:
You may cancel your order without any charges providing that it has not been dispatched (except Babystyle Furniture), we urge you to notify us at your earliest convenience by email. If your goods have already been dispatched then you will incur courier charges at your expense these costs will be £20.
Direct deliveries from manufactures ie BabyStyle Furniture sets will incur a 25% cancellation fee of the total order if you wish to cancel.
If you refuse your delivery this will incur a charge of £20 which will be deducted from your credit to come.
If you have input an incorrect delivery address and your item has been accepted at this address then Katie's Playpen will not be held responsible.
All cancellations must be via email as they will not be accepted over the phone, as all correspondence pertaining to this must be documented for all parties concerned.
Returns*
Upon receiving your items if this does not meet your expectations you have seven days to notify us by email that you do not require this product.
Kidsmill Furniture that are Deposit based items only are excluded from our seven day returns policy and are non refundable, also excluded from our seven day returns policy are made to measure mattresses and Dutailier nursing chairs. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Upon receiving your email we will issue you a returns number. WE CAN NOT PROCESS ANY RETURNS WITHOUT YOUR RETURNS NUMBER
Katie’s Playpen will do our utmost to prevent damaged goods being sent out to our customers. Our Quality Checking Procedures enables us to inspect each and every product thoroughly, if in the unlikely event you should receive your product damaged, please contact us via email at orders@katiesplaypen.co.uk and we will advise you on the necessary procedures for returning your damaged goods. This cost of this return will be covered by Katie’s Playpen.
Any unwanted products must be returned unused with original packaging, with your completed returns label securely attached on the outside of box/packaging.You may return the product your self at your own expense, or Katie’s playpen will provide this service at a charge of £20.
Katie’s Playpen will not be held liable for any losses or damages if you use your own courier.
Upon receiving the goods back and after inspection we will credit your account within 30 days.
Delivery:
Katie’s Playpen offers a FREE OF CHARGE delivery service on orders over £30 apart from a few exceptions which will be clearly stated at time of purchasing for UK Mainland only. Orders under £30 will incur a £3 charge. For delivery outside the UK Mainland please email queries@katiesplaypen.co.ukfor a price.
We are unable to send goods to BFPO addresses.
Delivery is normally between 2-5working days subject to stock availability.
Furniture can take up to 6weeks. You will be informed of this before you proceed with your order.
We offer a furniture delivery and assembly service in parts of Kent and London. This will be carried out by Katie’s Playpen own transport with our highly qualified fitters.

Credit card security
All our customers credit cards are encrypted using 128Bit encryption by Thawte's Premium server, this SSL is for high level security.
Payment can be made by the following: MasterCard, Visa, Switch and most other Visa/Debit Cards except American Express. Warranty
All products sold on Katie’s Playpen website comply with the relevant safety standards of the United Kingdom.
All Products are sold with a minimum of six months manufacturing guarantee (AGAINST MANUFACTURING FAULTS ONLY), but some manufacturers offer guarantees up to TWO years. This will be specified in the description on each item on our website.
If your product develops a MANUFACTURING FAULT please notify us by email so Katie’s Playpen can advise you the next step to take. You will also be requested to detail any fault with the product so that we may be able to offer you a replacement part (if its something you could repair yourself) if not we will uplift the product, repair and return to yourself.
If your product is deemed unrepairable we will give you a replacement.
Repairs
If a product has been misused or accidental damage has occurred this is classed as a non manufacturing fault then this will be a chargeable repair. Carriage charges will apply for pick up and return of your product.
You will then be advised of the costs before your product is collected.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Katie’s Playpen has endeavoured to be as accurate as possible on the descriptions, weights and dimensions of our products.
Images may vary from time to time where you may see slight variation in colour.
Privacy
Katie’s Playpen will not disclose any customer information to any other party without your consent. Any information we have is for Katie’s Playpen use only.
Ex-Display and Secondhand Goods
New display goods have a 6month guarantee against any manufacturing faults.
Secondhand goods have a 1 month guarantee against any manufacturing faults.
If the item is not what you expected please notify Katie's Playpen within 7 days Via email that you wish to return goods.
The postage for returned goods is your responsibillity, it is advisable to send any unwanted goods back Recorded so in the event off the goods going missing you would claim against the carrier. Katie's Playpen will not be held responsible for any goods that have been lost in transit.
